Fees

Downloading FixConnect and creating an account are free. Fees apply only when a customer pays for a job. Amounts are in Zambian kwacha (K). The rates below are the current standard rates. The app shows the rates again before you pay, and those rates are the ones used for that job.
1. Customer service fee
In ShortCustomers pay the agreed service price plus 8%.
The service price is the package price or the accepted quote. The customer service fee is 8% of that price, rounded to the nearest ngwee, and it is added to the mobile money charge. The invoice shows the service price, the fee, and the total before you approve the prompt.
2. Provider platform fee
In ShortProviders receive the service price minus 5%.
The platform fee is 5% of the service price, rounded to the nearest ngwee. It is deducted before the provider wallet is credited. It is not a second charge to the customer. Withdrawal to mobile money is covered in the Payment Policy.
3. Example on a K1,000 job

On this example the customer pays K1,080.00 and the provider wallet is credited K950.00. The two fees are calculated separately. They are not added together and charged to one side.
4. When the rates change
VoxIT Consulting can change these percentages. A new rate applies to payments that start after the change. A payment that has already started keeps the rates stored on that invoice, including a retry of a prompt that is still in progress.
If a paid job is cancelled and the refund succeeds, the customer receives the full amount paid, including the customer service fee. See the Refund Policy.
5. What we do not charge
There is no subscription, no fee to post a job, and no fee to send a quote. Browsing services is free. You pay only when a customer pays an invoice for an agreed job.
